Does My DayTank Include a Mount?

No, the WaterPORT tanks do not come with a mount included. Mounts may be purchased separately on our site. The DayTank includes a back u-bracket.

How Should I Store My DayTank to Prevent Bacteria Buildup?

Your DayTank should be rinsed with soap and water. If the tank is not used for drinking, you may add 2-3 drops of bleach. Make sure the top cap of the tank is left off so the tank can properly dry out before use.
Can I Put Boiling Water in My DayTank?

You can definitely add hot water, but we don't recommend boiling. You don't want the steam to mess with the pressurization in the tank.
How Can I Prevent My DayTank from Getting Stolen?

The DayTanks mounting plate allows for a pad lock to be placed through the top hole.

Perfect small water tank

"I've mounted this tank externally on the back of my camping rig and have used it almost every day from simply adding water to a pet's dish to rinsing my feet off to full showers. The pump handle is essential for quick pressurization. The hose is reasonable quality but I have learned to turn the spigot off when pressurized but not in use so that water doesn't dribble out of the nozzle. Overall very impressed and is now a camping essential."

Good concept, but could use improvement.

"First, I love the ability to have a pressurized water source where ever I go. That is very convenient. The 2 areas for improvement I see are, there is no way to know how full is full. Where is the Max fill line vs the water level. It's hard judge. The second is, there is no pressure indicator. The directions state that if you over pressurize the tank it will cause the pressure release to pop, but the only way to reset it is to drain the tank. I'd rather stop before I get to that point."

pretty good

"its tough to spend a couple hundred dollars just to have pressurized water on hand. i looked a LOT of different options. DIY builds, converting other products, etc. . . but settled on this. it works really well, with minimum moving parts i'm not really worried about it working when i need it. so if it sits in the back of my truck for 6 months i'm still confident it will work when i need it. Pro tip: i bought a $20 rechargable air pump that is so small it fits in my glove box. when i really need to wash something and want continues water you can pull it out, hook it up, and bam! 30psi from start to finish."

Great Portable Water Source

"I've only had this shower for a few days and have just used it around our property and so far its been great. I like that it is easy to fill and pressurize and not having to worry about a power source or gravity is very nice. This will work perfectly for the family beach days, hiking and camping. The only thing that I would change and what keeps it from getting a perfect score is that the hose, nozzle, and filling adapters/hardware is a little cheap feeling. There hasn't been any issues with them yet but it would be nicer if they were metal or higher quality plastic."
